Privacy Policy
Applies to RIGHT TO CARE LESOTHO PTY (Reg ID 56049) and this website.
Our commitment
RIGHT TO CARE LESOTHO PTY (Registration ID: 56049) respects the privacy of everyone who visits this website, contacts us, volunteers with us or receives support from our programmes. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect and how we protect it.
Information we collect
Contact details you choose to give us — such as your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message — when you complete the contact form or write to us directly.
Basic, non-identifying technical information generated by your browser (such as page requests and general device type) that helps us keep the website working correctly.
We do not ask for, and request that you do not send, sensitive medical information through this website. Health information shared during our programmes is handled offline under strict confidentiality.
How we use your information
To reply to your enquiry, referral or volunteer application.
To coordinate the delivery of health education, patient navigation or supply-aid support you have requested.
To meet our record-keeping and reporting obligations as a registered non-profit organisation in Lesotho.
We never sell or monetise your data
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise monetise visitor or beneficiary information under any circumstances. We do not share your details with advertisers or commercial data brokers, and we run no advertising trackers on this site.
Information is shared only where you have asked us to make a referral on your behalf, or where we are legally required to disclose it by a competent authority in Lesotho.
Confidentiality and security
Access to contact records is limited to authorised staff and trained volunteers who need it to do their work, and all of them are bound by our confidentiality commitments.
Records are stored securely, and paper records collected during outreach are kept in locked storage at our registered office.
Retention
We keep enquiry and programme records only for as long as they are needed for the purpose they were collected, or for as long as non-profit accounting and reporting rules require. After that, they are securely deleted or destroyed.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request that it be corrected, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Write to us and we will respond as promptly as we can.
Children
Where our programmes involve children, we obtain consent from a parent or guardian before recording any personal information, and we never publish identifying details of a minor.
