Our mission
To deliver accessible health education, support patient advocacy, strengthen community care networks, and promote equitable health services for underserved populations across Lesotho.
About us
We are a community-rooted organisation of health workers, caregivers and volunteers who believe good care should never depend on where a family lives or what they earn.
RIGHT TO CARE LESOTHO PTY is an officially registered healthcare non-profit organisation operating in Lesotho (Registration ID: 56049). Founded on the principle that quality healthcare and compassionate support are basic human rights, our organisation works directly with local communities, patient advocacy networks and health workers.
We deliver grassroots health education, patient navigation support, medical outreach guidance and community-based care initiatives aimed at ensuring no individual or family is left behind. Our team spends most of its time outside offices — in village halls, waiting rooms and homes — because that is where the barriers to care actually appear.
Every activity we run is planned with the people it serves, reviewed with local health workers, and recorded openly so that partners, donors and regulators can see exactly what was delivered and to whom.
To deliver accessible health education, support patient advocacy, strengthen community care networks, and promote equitable health services for underserved populations across Lesotho.
A healthier, more equitable Lesotho where every person has universal access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare and the necessary social support to live with dignity and wellbeing.
People are partners in their own care, never cases to be processed.
We describe what we actually did, including what did not work.
Programmes are led with community caregivers, not delivered to them.
